Exported video quality

Post by boot2165 »

While I set the JPEG quality options to 100, I still see a relatively pixelated output when I export videos. My real time camera feeds look pretty sharp, but they are not nearly as sharp on exported video. I understand there is compression taking place to get reasonable storage sizes, but I was hoping a 100 setting under all three JPEG options would get me a very sharp video. Am I missing something? If someone can give me a pointer it would be appreciated.

Hi,

I've read something like putting '-sameq' in the options/images/FFMPEG_INPUT_OPTIONS.

Search the forum for the option, maybe you find more information.

Thanks. Worked great.
Of course my file size increased dramatically, but the video looks great.
I appreciate the help.
