Not a JPEG file: starts with 0x35 0x39

Post by askmemyname »

I'm using:
- zm-1.19.5
- Linux version 2.4.22 (debian woody with self-compiled kernel)
- level 1 FCS-1010 ethernet webcam
I have successfully got a USB cam working and motion detecting. I've added the above mentioned Ethernet webcam and can successfully:
wget 10.200.32.231/cgi-bin/video.jpg
In zoneminder I configure:
host: 10.200.32.231
port: 80
path: /cgi-bin/video.jpg
In my log I get:

Code: Select all

  'zmc -m 4' starting at 04/10/12 00:58:12, pid = 19510
  'zmc -m 4' started at 04/10/12 00:58:12
Not a JPEG file: starts with 0x35 0x39
  'zmc -m 4' crashed at 04/10/12 00:59:19, exit status 1
Note that if I specify the wrong path (e.g. "cgi-bin/video.jpg" or "cgi-bin/video.jp") then I get a blank image on zone minder.

I don't understand why I'm getting "Not a JPEG file". I mean it is, and works fine.. Any ideas?

And so it's not working with the Ethernet webcam..

I forgot to add there's no image in zoneminder from the webcam.. so obviously it is rejecting the image it's getting..
