Question about zones

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to make zoneminder record if motion is detected in a specific zone.

I ll explain better bellow.

I have devided my camview into two zones; and active one (entry door) and all the rest of the image is set as inactive.

I just want movement (door opening ...) at that active zone to trigger recording ... Now seems that "record" records all and "MoCord" records all motion everywhere ...

Can this be done and if Yes, how?

You need to use Modect(Motion Detection) mode, then it will record when movement is detected in the active zones.

Modect doesn't seem to record anything ... I even got ot and re-entered using the door and nothing was recorded

Any more ideas?

As I said Mocord seems to work but track movement on the whole camera view and doesn't care of the active/inactive zones.

Modect is for motion detection. Maybe you're configuring your zones with too little sensitivity, try to use the preset "Fast, high sensitivity".
