ZM wont work with my webcam

I use Ubuntu 8.04 Desktop. I installed ZM using "apt-get" without any issues.

My "sudo zmu -d /dev/video1 -q -v" displayed this....

I created a Monitor with the following settings

What I get is(when i click on the MyWebCam link in the console) is a large window with links and an empty picturebox which i suppose should be filled with the video from my cam..

I check my cam using xawtv using "xawtv -c /dev/video1". it gave me
