Installing ZM From Scratch Using Secondary Hard Drive

I have had a time consuming ordeal trying to get ZM configured to use a second hard drive to store the events/images folders. I keep getting permission errors and I have the info on a separate post here. Is there a way to do a fresh install of ZM directing it to use the secondary hard drive for storage during installation? If so, does anyone know of some good instructions?
