Hi
Whatever I try. No more than 2 zms processes are started at the same time by apache when calling i.e. the montage view.
I am using a Spectra8 card providing 4 input channels. I can whatch either 2 of them, but the 3rd and 4th are not viewable the same time.
I tried to investigate the reason, but it seems I am stuck.
I could not find any parameter within the zonminder config limiting the thread / process count for zms.
I also tried to broadly extend the child, process and thread limits of apache, but it did not work at all.
There is no error showing up within syslog, apache error log, or zonmeinder logs.
I am quite not sure if this could be a problem with mozilla firebird, apache, or zoneminder.
If anone has encountered similar problems, please tell me a hint, if you have one.

Problem seems fixed now
Hi
I tried the mentioned settings regarding connection limits and caching behaviour. But the seetings showed no effects regarding my problem - well mostly nothing: The cache settings solved some inconvenience regarding frame reloading.
Then I tried upgrading Firefox to the most recent 1.0 and that in combination with the connection limit settings works fine.
Thanks to the posters in the other threads.
For all readers having not read the other threads:
type in "about:config" into firefox and shrink the displayed stuff with the keyword "conn", then raise values for the "network.http.max*" settings to some greater values.
If you experience problems with "broken" images / streams, try to disable disk cache and set cache type to 1 (about:config, keyword cache - the rest should be self explaning)
