I'm having some syslog 'overload' problems on a new setup of ZM v1.24, i586 FC10, with Pinnacle PCTV TV/Capture card. When ZM is running I get warnings logged to /var/log/messages from the tuner driver that the (MT20xx) PLL's aren't locked - presumably this is because I have no TV aerial and/or because the TV channel isn't being used, just the capture inputs.
I tried adding a modules.conf option (tuner=4) for the bttv driver which does stop the tuner driver being loaded, but instead I now get warnings from bttv saying "tuner type unset" (that's from memory - it might be "absent") .
Getting 4 or 5 warnings per second is causing the log file to grow pretty rapidly. Is there some trick to stop these attempts to 'access' the tuner channel? (even somewhere I could modify my ZM source and rebuild?). I would rather not have to modify and rebuild a complete kernel+modules if possible.
