I'm looking to standup a ZoneMinder install at my house, but I don't have a computer to install it on right now. I was looking at the GuruPlug
It is $99 for a computer the size of a power adapter. It has 512meg of RAM, Gig Ethernet, 2x USB2.0, 2.6.32 Kernel, and a 1.2gHz Sheeva CPU.
Should this be able to run ZoneMinder and link up to IP cameras?

Hi,
Great finding! Impressive, I will be interested too..
I have registered in the plug forum (http://plugcomputer.org/plugforum/index.php), and seems that some people is trying to set up zoneminder into these little beasts....

I don't have a system yet. I've setup ZM at my father's house with four cameras but after a break in at my house I need to get started. I'll be starting off with one USB camera since that is what I have on hand and then I'll go from there.PacoLM wrote:Hi,
I have ordered the same model, keep in touch to make it work. How many cameras do you have in your system? Are they USB or IP CAM?.

PS: Doesn't matter where the thread is...
