FTP mpg videos of Alarm Events

Has anyone put together a method for FTP'ing video of alarmed events, via Filters or otherwise? I followed a few threads on the topic, and many had problems where the filter-generated .mpg would be unplayable, whereas the normal method of generating a video manually through the web interface works fine.

I was able to modify my zmfilter.pl from some leads on the forum, to eliminate the "empty zip file" problem when uploading the jpg images from a background filter, but would love to be able to upload a working .mpg.

The reason for this is, this is for a customers' security system who is not very tech-savvy, so it would be ideal for him to just receive the alert email with a link to the video on our off-site FTP, so he can just click and download the video with no messing around.

Unfortunately no, and I haven't had time to play with that any further. If you happen to find anything on this, please post here!
