Fedora13/IP Video 9100: Can't get shared memory id '7a6d003'

Post by EO »

Using latest Fedora 13 updates, SELinux disabled, zoneminder-1.24.2-4.fc13.i686. Setting a source to Monitor mode, Type=Remote, Path=/usr/yoics0.jpg, WxH=320x240 (also tried 640x480). In all config cases, I get messages like this in the logs:

07/12/2010 22:01:05.044640 zmdc[2893].INF [Starting pending process, zmfilter.pl]
07/12/2010 22:01:05.045620 zmdc[2893].INF ['zmfilter.pl' starting at 10/07/12 22:01:05, pid = 2975]
07/12/2010 22:01:05.236784 zmdc[2893].ERR ['zmfilter.pl ' exited abnormally, exit status 9]

07/12/2010 22:01:10.315194 zmwatch[2942].ERR [Can't get shared memory id '7a6d0003', 3: No such file or directory]

It also does the same thing with local USB webcams. I figured the remote IP Video server would help whatever SHM problem it might have been having with the webcams. ipcs does show it has the segment:

0x7a6d0003 1474578 apache 700 9217192 0

After reading through some of the forums here, I'm still at a loss with this thing. I saw one post where the source of the shm problem was the ZM couldn't get the image. So then I ran wireshark to see if it's grabbing the HTTP images, and sure enough you see images being successfully queried every few seconds. I can go to the URL in Firefox and view them just fine from the ZM machine. But when I click on the Monitor-1 link in the ZM UI, only a black square shows up where the image is supposed to be.

What is the recommended course of action here?
