Unable to get USB Quickcam 4000 working in ZM

I have read every thread that I can find. I am able to view the cam in xawtv. My quickcam will blink a green activating light from time to time when trying to display in ZM. When I click on my monitor name nothing shows up. Was wondering if I could get some help from someone familiar with installing a USB Quickcam?
