I'm using v1.24.2 Zoneminder in opensuse 11.2 and no issues ranging from installing untill setting ..
However, when adding a web camera alter ego (the brand name Z-Star Microelectronics, the camera is not working. Whereas for Syntek camera (built from the laptop) is not problematic. But the problem again, the camera Z- Star Microelectronics is CAN if used as a webcam in Skype application.
1. Is it Zoneminder version do I need to change? (Which is the latest version 1.24.2)
2. Do I need to upgrade my linux kernel?
