PV-981 16 port card setup issue

Post by Ritmo2k »

HI,
Running CentOS 5 x64 w/ zm 1.24.2 and with or without modprobe settings of `options bttv card=98,98,98,98,98,98,98,98` I get the 4 /dev/video devices.

When I try to run `xawtv -c /dev/video{0-3}` as root I just get a blue screen.

I looked through the forums and although I didn't see anything else to try, it does appear the setup should work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Yeah, SE Linux is disabled. Tech support responded and suggested to try another computer, so I am taking a newer machine and installing it now.

How does one access a specific camera with xawtv as in my case where I 4 chips, /dev/video{0,3} and 4 cameras per?

Thanks for quick reply!
