Hi!
The documentation says that running ZoneMinder in "authenticated mode" is recommended (http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.ph ... n#Tutorial), but it is not explained there how authenticated mode is enabled, and no reference to further information is provided. Can somebody please point out how this feature is enabled?
Thanks & kind regards,
Markus
how to enable authenticated mode?
Re: how to enable authenticated mode?
Go to your ZM console, click 'options' in the upper right, and under the first tab called 'System', check the box that says 'OPT_USE_AUTH' (around 2nd item down). Restart ZM, and then setup your users in the 'Users' tab (last tab)grabner wrote:Hi!

Re: how to enable authenticated mode?
Thanks a lot for the clarification, I added a similar hint to the Wiki.jdhar wrote:Go to your ZM console, click 'options' in the upper right, and under the first tab called 'System', check the box that says 'OPT_USE_AUTH' (around 2nd item down).
