What ports are used by zone minder for communication on the Internet? Just 80/TCP or UDP too?
Can I install it without MySQL?
Can someone install it on the CF card? (Linux Voyage)
Can you run it without writing to disk only uploading images to FTP (how fast internet connection must be fo 3-4 live-cam (320x240)?

It is served through Apache, so you need to open whatever port your Apache is sitting on. Usually 80. No need for UDP.

You need to be more specific about your setup details. To give you an example, 1 640x480 cam at only 3fps streaming at MJPEG takes >70KB/sec of bandwidth. you can use that as a benchmark.

Either way, ZM would have to be modified for this.
