Hello!
I am running ZM 1.23.3 on an Ubuntu 9.04 server. I recently added an Axis P1344 camera, bringing my total of cameras on this server up to six, all set on record. Server load seems to average around .40, but can occasionally (rarely) spike up to around .80. Only about 400 megs out of my two gigs of RAM are being used.
I am experiencing a problem with my P1344 and ZM. It is pointed at a road. A car can drive past, and the camera image seems to be "stuck" on the blank image of the road until the car gets about halfway through the cameras field of vision, at which point the image of the car sort of "jumps" into the middle of frame - looking as if a car just appeared in the middle of the road out of nowhere. Also, when the camera does catch somebody moving, it seems to record them in slow-motion (a walk down the road in front of the camera might take me 5 seconds, but it takes 15 seconds to watch). This behavior is only reflected inside of ZM, as I can watch the camera directly via the axis web viewer, and see the image in perfect clarity, with no "sticking" frames.
Does anybody have any suggestions or fixes? This P1344 is currently restricted to 8FPS using the following connection string: /axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi?resolution=320x240&req_fps=8.
I have two Axis 206's recording at 10fps, and 2 Axis 221's that I do not have a problem with either. These Axis cameras usually seem to just work, so I'm guessing I must need to tweak something somewhere in ZM.
Your assistance is appreciated!
Axis P1344 and ZM 1.23.3
Note - I have done more digging into this issue.
I have located the event jpeg images on disk, and have manually looked at the JPEGs themselves. Even where the image is "stuck," all 5 JPEG frames are still present - despite showing the same exact image across all five frames.
This leads me to believe that my disk is not having trouble keeping up, but it is instead possibly an issue with the camera itself?
