Using Run States in 1.24.2

I am following this document:

trying to set different run states so that during the day I can have the brightness, contrast and color settings at a lower value than I do during the night.

I try setting the values on the cameras, saving the run state as "Day", then changing them again and saving the run state as "Night".

Once that is done, if I select one of my new run states, it never changes the camera values, and my run state at the top of the window always just shows Running.

Does anyone have this running correctly?
I am using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS server, and ZM 1.24.2.

well it would appear this is an issue with the web interface because I was trying to do the same thing so after trying to change it in the "Run State" drop down box I then went and changed it on the command line by running

sudo zmpkg.pl Daytime

which then changed the camera settings to the way I had them setup

so after running this from the command line it now works with the web-interface so the issue was needing to restart ZOneMinder :p
