Problem with recording

Hi,
i have installed ZoneMinder-1.24.2 on debian lenny x64 (amd64). When set camera as record in /var/log/messages is always. I see camera OK, but no recording

did you ever get your camera working with zoneminder? I have the same camera and i'm having a hard time connecting the two..

Are you using linked monitors? Please try unlinking all your monitors and see if the problem goes away.

i currently have only have one camera set up. i can't seem to find the option to unlink or ling the camera. I'm assuming its only utilized when two more cameras are used??

The linked monitors option shows up in each monitor's options page, even if you have only one monitor.

If you have phpmyadmin, try setting the LinkedMonitors field in the Monitors table to empty.

The backtrace you provided shows the problem coming when attempting to access a linked monitor which probably doesn't exist.

I found the link option under the Source/genera tab but i don't see where i can link it or its greyed out. i toggle between tabs and i sometimes see my monitor linked and sometimes i don't.. i think i have other issues.. i don't think zoneminder is finding my ip camera..

Can you enable extra debugging (level 9) (it will put debug files in /tmp/ folder) and then upload the log file or upload the results of "cat thefile | grep -i link"
ZM thinks you have linked monitors for some reason, and it seems you aren't the only person with this problem, i found another one, this is why im curious about this issue and interested in creating a patch to fix it.
