Worked just fine ZM 1.23
USB camera looks good in Cheese, but also flickering in ZM 1.24
I have tried to move Conexeant to another PCI slot, the problem still persists.
After update Ubuntu 10.04LTS and 1.24.2 picture flicker
Hudibras,
I just installed ZM 1.24.2 and bttv 0.9.18 for the first time and I'm also noticing flicker. I, too, am using a video card based on the BT878 (in may case, a Provideo PV-143). A couple questions about your previous installation, if the information is still available:
* What version of bttv was running before your OS upgrade? Could the problem be there?
* Have you tried regressing to ZM 1.23 on your new OS? If so, any improvement?
I'm continuing to experiment with ZM and bttv option settings, but so far, I have not noticed any change in the flicker (or much of anything else). I've also looked to see if there's a later version of bttv, but that's the version contained in the latest Linux Media source archive.
I'll post any discoveries and would appreciate hearing of anything you may learn.

I don't recall the driver, but now it says booktree.wbclay wrote:Hudibras,

I don't think regressing is possible.
I have found a link there a zm1.24 runs the same board under Unbuntu 10.04LTS
I'm doing some research later today, there maybe a solution in the link. i'll send post it here if useable.
