Axis Cameras
Axis Cameras
Hi,
I have installed in the HDD the live-cd. I have tried with IP cameras (Axis 2420 and Axis 2120) and no image appears, though from the explorer if that does it.
My camera configuration:
----
Function : Monitor
Section Length : 600
Frame Skip: 0
Run Mode: Conitnuous
Source Type: Remote
----
Remote Host Name : 192.168.0.215
Remote Host Port: 80
Remote Host Path: /jpg/image.jpg
320x240
24 bit colour
Can someone help me?
Thanks

I'm using 1.1
Also for the record I'm a developer not a Linux admin so please forgive me if I ask seamingly stupid questions about Linux. I'm trying to make this work on RH9C3 if that helps.
The catpure daemon seems to be working now and images are being recorded, but I still can't get any display in the monitor window from zms.

Try sending a USR1 signal to the relevant zmc process. This will increase the debug level by 1 each time. At about 3 or so you should see something more useful in /var/log/messages. If you can post that it might help, I would also recommend changing to http 1.0 as an experiment.
Sending USR2 puts the debug level back down by the way.

Ok,
Here's what I'm seeing in the apache error log
[Fri Feb 18 09:11:56 2005] [error] [client 10.12.96.15] Premature end of script headers: zms, referer: http://bpl-tim-1/index.php?view=watchfe ... &scale=100

/usr/local/bin/zmu: error while loading shared libraries: libavformat.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Now I know for a fact that libavformat.so is on the box and in the following locations:
/root/ffmpeg-0.4.8/libavformat/libavformat.so
/usr/local/bin/libavformat.so
/usr/local/lib/libavformat.so
What am I missing?
