Upgrading to 1.24.3 on ubuntu 10.04

Hi

i have 1.24 installed and i miss the SMTP authentication therefore i thought upgrading , bu i cannot find any guide of doing this except for the download link at the announcements area.

i don't mind installing a fresh one instead of upgrading.
also if there is a simple way of doing this with apt-get i would be happy.
(is there a repo for pre release builds)

1.24.3 is really just in a preview state at the moment and not necessarily recommended for mainstream use. As it's new it will probably not exist in any packages or repositories at the moment and can only be compiled from source. If you still want to do this then instructions etc are all in the docs in the Wiki.
