Motion detection breaks single motion into multiple events..

When I configure motion dection (Modec1) for myusb cam it records movements but breaks it into multiple events for small variations in movements. I just want it to ignore small pauses ie below 1or 2 secs. while recording a motion. Please help me if its possible in zoneminder.

All other configurations working fine including mail notificatios on vents with image and video attachment. Its configered on CentOS 5.5 and Zoneminder 1.24.2 source and ffmpeg rpm. Both USB webcams and btt878 capture cards working fine. Thanks for all forum members & Wiki

In your monitor setup screen under "buffers" set the pre event and post event to larger numbers. If you record at 5 frames per second then 20=2 seconds at 30 fps 60=2 seconds etc.
