(solved) 1.24.2 / ubuntu 10.04 / no video / DST ?

i am suddenly unable to view video from my cameras. i am thinking it might be related to DST. i am in Arizona. system time is correct but time shown in ZM-Console window is 1 hr later.

when i click on a camera name to view the feed, i see no feed. firefox tells me i need additional plugins to view the page, but no plugins can be found. if i browse to the camera's IP address i can view the feed fine. when i try to replay events, also no video is shown. i can view the individual frames fine, though. Montage view shows nothing as well.

not sure if it is related, but this shows up in my /var/log/apache2/error.log when i try to click on a camera to view its stream. 192.168.1.20 is my computer and 192.168.1.50 is the ZM machine:

yes, DST was the problem. found the solution, no thanks to the search function of this forum (disallowing search for 'time').

i found this thread, http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewto ... f=6&t=8447 and figured out how to configure the PHP timezone. once i did that and restarted apache, video is showing up again!
