Playback issues on events

Post by gazoo »

I just installed a new system on ubuntu moving away from 8.x and now on 10.x. I just migrated all my ip cams to the new system and saw one major issue I cant resolve. In the old zoneminder I could go into the events screen and tick off in the checkboxes a series of events, hit view, pick gapless and it would play out the events in a linked mini movie. Now in the new install, it can't do it - it just does the first of the checked events and stops even when I choose gapless or play all.

Any hints to what may be going wrong? This is a big deal for me. I may have done something wrong but don't know what it could be.

Many thanks in advance.

Meh, just deal with it seems to be the answer. I really miss that feature, too. It is from one of the 1.23 versions. 1.24 broke the playback, now there are these silly buttons so I can't use my browser's intelligent "next" and "previous" mouse gestures either, waaah.

The other feature I miss is the next and previous buttons are locked to the camera being displayed. They used to go through the events list, switching from cam to cam when using multiple cameras. Now, they skip over events from other cameras. I dread having to playback/review these days, it takes forever.

Maybe I'll figure out how to downgrade or reinstall someday, all the old versions are available.

Its probably a bug and can be fixed, if someone will bother.
