My remote camera is running far away from the wireless router, thus it has poor connectivity with the zoneminder server. Every time there is a loss of signal with the camera, zoneminder generate an event (signal-event) which takes storage space and eventually fills up the disk. The camera is running in modect mode and I run zm 1.24.3.
Is there any way I can disable the signal event feature? I only want to save motion events. Relocating the camera in order to get better signal is not an option, the signal is decent enough for me.
Disabling signal events
Re: Disabling signal events
Hi,
You may have to create a filter that deletes the signal events.
Hope it helps,

After more than 15 years, no longer using ZM as surveillance system.
Now in the dark side, using a commercial system...
Re: Disabling signal events
I thought about doing that. Not optimal but it would work.
