Scrambled Video, 4-Port 878a.

I have just picked up an unbranded 4 port, single clip, connexant fusion 878a card, from a local boot sale.

The system detects the card ok.

But when I try and setup in zoneminder I just get a Scrambled Video.

The computer system is: Intel QuadCore Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz, 4GB DDR2 Memory, 500GB SATA Hard Drive, Running Ubuntu 11.04 and ZoneMinder 1.24.2

The camera is:

Yoko Technology Corp
RYK-2B79L2/1
Resolution:..............540 TVL.
Picture Elements:.....PAL 752x582.

It seems your card is failing to be auto-detected. Its probably a pico2000 clone or something. Create a file /etc/modprobe.d/bttv.conf and put this in there:

options bttv gbuffers=16 card=77 radio=0 tuner=4 chroma_agc=1 combfilter=2 full_luma_range=1 coring=1 autoload=0

Also, you might want to use ZM 1.24.3, its newer.
