Sunrise + sunset...

Post by tibetfreedom »

Sunrise + sunset, the point at which the built in IR light switches on or off causes an event to be triggered.
Not only that but there seems to be recording some seconds before the event… then the recording seems to carry on for a very long time….

Code: Select all

What do you have your zones set as?
If you configure so that the Max alarm area is somewhere between 70 to 90% it will help cut out some of these alarms.
Cameras don't send anything to say that they are switching modes so there is no way for ZM to know that the image change isn't something to be interested in.

Hmm Ok never seen these before,
So from presets I selected Fast, Medium Sensitity
I don't know what the Type menu's are or alarm method…
I can see however why this is much better than a standalone camera…
So I set as above…, before it was set to defaults…
Not sure what it will do now…

So your MAX Alarmed Area is set to 0 and thus disabled, try putting a setting of 90 or 95 in place of the 0. It should help.
