ZM doesnt open anything larger then 800X600

Hello guys i was using zm with 640x480 cameras and they do work fine.
Now i just got Toshiba ik-wr12a capable of 1600x1200 (i dont think it has mpeg support so i am using still images )
but if i set up resolution higher then 800X600 zm doesn't like the source. To make sure it is not camera causing the issue i uploaded single image(different resolutions) to a web server, but still once i point zm to anything higher then 800x600 it doesn't work. Any ideas.
Is there a log file that i can look at/post here. Thank you.

From here forward it's going to be very important to indicate whether your using shared memory or mapped memory. If uncertain, post version and against what distribution. If this is a shared memory system you'll need to increase the values (plenty of formulas, wiki entries, and even a script to help)

i will try to find out but im not that good at Linux
it is 1.24.3 running on ubuntu (installed from live dvd provided in distribution thread of the forum)
Most likely it is using shared memory

i will try to post some logs here
i did increase shared memory as described in FAQ and now the static image from webserver loads, but image from camera is still not working
the log is pretty long but
looks like that the connection is droped by remote host (camera) before image is completely loaded.
Is it camera's bug?
