I know this question has been asked and answered many times before. But all my searches
keep taking me back to the Wiki which is a bit more reading than I like to do.
How do I set up filters to delete events over 30 days old? My system load goes above
1.0 consistently when my Disk is about 15% full which is usually in about 30 days.
I am using ZM 1.24.2
Thanks for taking the time.

Deleting events older than 30 days
Re: Deleting events older than 30 days
Filters, add a filter by Date, less than or equal, -30 day. Remember to check the Delete all matches and leave the field Limit to first XX results in blank. Save it to run in background.
After more than 15 years, no longer using ZM as surveillance system.
Now in the dark side, using a commercial system...
Re: Deleting events older than 30 days
Thanks.I did greater than 30 day and it deleted all the events.I will have to wait 30 days and find out how
your suggestion works. Why is there "-" before the 30 day and do I have to do this for every monitor ?
thanks

Re: Deleting events older than 30 days
The filters could be set for all the monitors or just for one, depends on the filter you use.
