Is it possible to upgrade ZMLarch_1.24.2-1 to 1.24.4?

Hi,
I'm trying to update my (hdd installed) ZmLarch 1.24.2 to 1.24.4,
and I'm running into problems...
I have simply downloaded the latest version of ZM and typed
./configure (with paths)
and then
make
It's at this point it throws up an error.
Has anybody upgraded their version of ZmLarch?
and if so what did you do?
Or should I not waste time and install Ubuntu and the latest Zm,
(which would be a shame because I like the idea of ZmLarch,,
t's slim and runs well on my PIII 2.4ghz....).

I don't think you can update. I was not able to after trying a variety of approaches. I note that the eyeZM stuff doesn't work with zmLarch either, and it appears to be because of changes in file names/locations etc.

I am currently stuck using zmLarch because of this on a test box, while I try to get my "real" box working with regular zm...

Searched the forums and didn't find a success story to share. Sorry, great LiveCD though, can only hope RDMelin continues to produce more!

The most interesting thing about it for me is that my pv-143 card works with zmLarch out of the box...but I cannot get it working directly in regular ZM for the life of me! (On the SAME hardware!)

Two suggestions to try: Be sure to use BGR24 as the palette and check your bttv.conf for the correct settings (this one will probably be the answer). Got a PV-143 running at my daughters house, still works just as good as it ever did.
