no more detection when further than ~10m from camera

hi,

i have finally got the camera's running the way i "sort of" want by making the following changes.
source image buffer = 200
source pre event image count = 100
source post event image count = 200

before making those changes the event was triggered, when the person was already in the middle of the picture and each recording was only about 1-3 sec long.
should i have made changes somewhere else?

the problem i now have is, that the detection only works up to about 10m from the camera.
with the above settings, the recording starts with my head appearing on the ouside of the picutre - which i want - but about 10m away from the
camera, the recoding stops (also set post image count to 30 for this test).
even though the person is still visible and recognisable for 20m.
i have also changed image blend% from 7 to 2, but did not help either.

would be great, if someone had an idea.

Change your alarm method from blobs to alarmed pixels and adjust pixel threshold (you'll have to do some playing with these settings). To do this select zone on desired monitor (far right on main page), single click on zone name, make adjustments and save.
