fine tuning a zone

Post by jsbsmd »

relatively new to zoneminder but well versed in linux and windows. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to eliminate the bugs going in front of the camera or during the night the car lights setting off the motion detection in a defined zone. When I look at the recording, it seems that if I could create an exception on white light, that would do the trick, however I only see a red/green/blue setting. attached is the current setting of the zone.

version 1.24.4 running on ubuntu 10.04 server.

Two settings to play with: Reference Image Blend %ge on the general tab of the monitor (try 15 to begin with) and the "Overload Frame Ignore Count" try 4 for a value on 10 fps in the zone settings.
