"Generate Video" Quality

Post by Go3Team »

I'm trying to figure out how to get optimum quality from the Generate Video feature when viewing an event.

Right now the video doesn't look too bad, but the time stamp is pretty garbled.

Here's a youtube video I just did for an example:

Thanks.

You need to play with "FFMPEG_OUTPUT_OPTIONS" in the "images" tab of "options".. you can google FFMPEG and CLI or "command line", etc to get an idea of your options.. there are many! In short though, what I've done to increase quality is to add the following to that option: "-r 25 -b 800k", which increases the bit rate to 800k.. I'm not sure whether thats overkill or not, but it helped my video quality.. there are many other parameters, but I haven't had time to dig into that...

good luck.
