I see where you are going with this and you're right, with ZM I don't actually need to access this folder via the xp clients. It just stems from when I was running a windows server and needed to access the MPEG files produced by the CCTV software to review them. Now that I am a linux convert I guess this is not needed at the streams can be accessed via the ZM console and burnt to a CD if needed.knnniggett wrote:Out of curiosity sake, for what purpose do you want to remotely access your Zonemidner Events folder? Backups perhaps?

Re: really need some help
Again this problem with this card.
I made a saa7134.conf file in the dir "modprobe.d"
In this file I put "saa7134 card=2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2 " ( 3 is also possible)
Finally I had a picture in XawTV.
But.......In zoneminder the source (/dev/video0) is red and I have no picture.
Even when I try with cheese (program) I have no image.
I also tried with several numbers ( card =1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) .
So... Who's using this capturecard and how can I solve this problem.???
Thx.
ubuntu 11.04 clean install.
