Cannot play back currently recording event?

I click on the camera to view it, underneath there is a "new event" currently recording, if I click on that event to begin playback from the beginning, it doesnt show an image, but if I click on other events that are not currently recording, the video plays back fine.? Is this the way its supposed to work? Using latest LiveCD version.

Yes, that is by design I guess. Though it's probably historical more than anything so probably could be changed. I'll take a look at it again.
