Hi,
Recently, I got no email on alert. Checking the log, I saw "Creating notification email". But no "Sending notification message" and "Notification message sent".
What's wrong? I did not see zmfilter.pl exited abnormally or such kind of thing in zmdc.log.

Have you got mail sent yet ? I too am having trouble with email.

i can send email. First,i setup in email options ,second i setup filter. Do you setup your email?

I have set it up yes, smtp.broadband.rogers.com, I need to connect on port 587 and I see it trying to connect on port 25 in my firewall but I check the email and there is nothing there. I have foscams and they work but there is a spot to specify port and authentication credentials. I need to edit the config file to use port 587, I cannot find the file to edit, do you know if there is added email features in teh 1.25 release ? I will reinstall or even change OS if it will help, Ubuntu 10.04.

Have you installed postfix and configured it?
After more than 15 years, no longer using ZM as surveillance system.
Now in the dark side, using a commercial system...

I have played with postfix yes, I was going to ask if it was needed. I have postfix running but I will have to play with it some more. Or I will have to settle for FTP. Thanks.
