ZM send email motion during timeframe

Hi,

I wonder if it is possible to let ZM mail me in case of motion during a specific time frame. Like for example night time.
So far I was unable to find this information on the internet. Anyone succeeded in configuring this?

Hi,

You will need to create a filter. I'm assuming that you have your system using cameras in modect mode. In this filter, you could select the cameras, the type of event, the timeframe and the action, in your case, receive an email with all the events matching the filter, isn't it?.

I assume that you mean by the action, is using the option Execute command on all matches and then use a custom command. I gues thats not simply a mail -s motion emailaddres line?

When you save the filter, there's the possibility of checking a 'run in background' checkbox that should be running the filter automatically when ZM is running. In the email sent, you could choose the parameters to be sent, like time, hour, camera, attach a picture and/or video, etc. I will post here the settings I have in my system when I'm back home.
