Looking for a device to convert 8 analog channels to IP. I've come across a few...
Aviosys 9100 series 4 channel
http://www.aviosys.com/9100aplus.html
ACTi ACD-2300 8 channel
http://www.acti.com/product/detail/Vide ... r/ACD-2300
Nextiva S1708e 8 channel
http://verint.com/video_solutions/secti ... l2b_id=699
Trendnet TV-VS1P 1 channel
https://www.trendnet.com/store/products ... 1P&cat=139
I'd prefer to use a single 8 channel system, but if nothing is compatible with ZM then I could go down to the 4 channel or even the 1 channel trendnet. Does anyone have experience with any of the models above or recommend a different device?

Re: ZM friendly multi channel analog to IP encoder ?
When I was still using analog cameras I used another zoneminder box with a cheap pci card. I remember looking up hardware like what you posted and it just turned out that building another zoneminder box to turn the cameras into IP cameras was cheaper. It may use more power but it was still cheaper. Thats if you can hook them all to one spot. If you cant run your cameras to one box then something like you posted may work but someone else would have to chime in that knows about that hardware.
