That allows full control via ZoneMinder and allows ZoneMinder to record only when motion is detected?

Can anyone recommend a PoE network camera?
Re: Can anyone recommend a PoE network camera?
There are many. Axis makes some very nice (and expensive) models like the P3344, which is an outdoor cam with a built in heater and has excellent low-light ability. But be careful - Axis also makes cams that arent very good, like the M3011.
I recently got a D-Link MCS-6111 that is POE and has a great picture, but you have to manual focus and zoom initialy. However, once its in focus, everything in range that it sees is in focus.

Does Zoneminder motion detection work well with your D-Link or is it the D-Link that does the motion detection.

Re: Can anyone recommend a PoE network camera?
Many cameras can do motion detection and save files to a network share, but if you do it that way there's no need to use zoneminder.
I have zoneminder doing the detection.
By the way, the D-Link MCS-6111 is an indoor cam...
