I have a proliant server in my house that i run Openmediavault on. OMV is a non-gui version of Ubuntu that has a webgui. Is there any reason I could not use zoneminder on that computer as well? I assume ZM has a webgui style interface? I would have to use networked webcams, probably wireless.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Can I run ZM on Openmediavault server
I don't have any experience with Openmediavault but I do run ZM on Arch linux with no gui.
ZM is pretty much a bunch of php, perl scripts and a handful of binaries. There is no need to have an X server installed. It is all controlled via the web interface (and the command line if you like).
