Trendnet IP400W in Ubuntu server and Zoneminder challenges..

Hi !
Thanks for many great posts and a good site alltogether folks !

I have earlier used Trendnet camera and earlier versions of Zoneminder with great sucseess, but right now i have major problems.

The problem arrived when I did a new installation in my server soft.
Using now Ubuntu 11.10
Installed Zoneminder from GUI, no failure and started straight away as it should.
Zoneminder 1.24.4 is runing nicely in server.

I installed the new driver for the TV-IP400W from SFPETER and followed instructins for it.

I cant get in touch with the camera.
I can insert all driver details, all the rest as described for the driver, but still no picture and control working.
The IP adress is red marked, so I dont think Im in contact with the camera at all.
Checked IP and all, it works from windows with the same IP.
When trying to probe it I only get this message:

Code: Select all

Unable to probe network cameras, status is '127'

Could it be a mismatch in server soft / Apache2 configs etc ?
Any good tips here ?

Hi !
Just to let you know.
It is working now.
I changed the settings from /MJPEG.CGI to video.cgi in the source settings for the camera .
I followed the guide from SFPETER, but then it wasnt working.

Still cant use control butons, dont know why, but the picture is there, and the motion detection is working.
