Web interface keeps showing as "stopped"

I added a camera following the wiki, but I cannot figure out how to actually view it. It seems something is wrong with the interface as well, which may be why I'm not seeing all options.

On the top of the interface this is what it says:

ZoneMinder Console - Stopped - v1.24.4

Why does it say "stopped"? The service is running.

If I click on the word I get a little popup window to "change the state" but it does absolutely nothing whatever I do with it. I get the option "start" in the drop down and a text field to type something in. No matter what I do or type, the dialog just closes after and nothing happens.

Any help would be appreciated in getting this running. After days of trying to get this install to work, I think I'm very close. I would really love to see a yum or rpm package to automate the install, as it's a tough one.

Dreaded SELinux. I totally forgot to disable that when I Installed CentOS on it. That's normally my standard procedure as that screws around with lot of stuff and causes things to not work, without leaving any kind of indication as to why.

This is sweet, Now I can start playing with the features like motion recording and stuff.
