Hi,
I would like to test my system (2 dual cores Xeon 5140 @ 2.33GHz, 4 GB RAM) before buying a lot of cam (around 40, for a building). I want to be sure that one server is enough or if i need to buy another one.
For the test, i would like to add 40 times the same Foscam IP CAMERA and check how the system is ok with that.
But i would like to add the monitors manually via a script and not via Web interface. I tried via insert into Monitors and Zones tablse in mySQL + adding the directory for the newly created monitor id in the events directory and the symbolic links to it using the name of the monitor, no way : the monitor is added, but it is red (not working).
Is there a way to do that ?
