Seperate Cleanup System?

I know this is a long shot, But I was wondering...

Could you use a separate system to run the filters?

One system monitors and records the camera's, and one monitors disk space and runs filters?

I was going to attempt this and see what I run into, Any thought out there?

I have three Zoneminder systems and 2 of them have 30+ camera's on it. So an CPU cycles I can pull from the system and put it on a small desktop would help.
