What about ONVIF?

Hi to all, I'm new to Zone Minder World and I'd like to know more about this good software.
I have found some good IP cameras, compliance with the ONVIF standard, but I'm not sure that Zone Minder works correctly in this case.
Has someone experienced the integration between ONVIF compliant IP cameras and Zone Minder?
I have tried a search in the Wiki, in the forum and googleling, but nothing about...
What do you think on ONVIF?
Does Zone Minder support, will support or never support this "standard"?
