Cheap USB extension

Hi everyone.
I am looking for some cheap extension of USB for connecting webcam to my home server for video survivlance of my park place.
Have anyone of you som technical tip how to connect webcam for distance like 100 feet?

Search for USB Extender in Google.

Prices between 90$ and 125$. Not really cheap !

...did not really helped much.
The active extension is not suitable for webcams (unable to transmit stream), neither do the USBto Ethernet devices.
And the passive extensions could help only for 5 meters...
Any other thoughts/ideas?

USB Line Extender

Hi Sancho,
had no problems with Philips USB Cams ToUCam 840K (320*240 res)
CAT 5 cable over 35 m distance with USB Line Extender.
