I have upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 x64 server edition as a fresh install and installed ZM from the repositories.
Everything appears to be working correctly including ZM.
I have had eyeZM on my iPad for sometime and previously had no issues. However since my server upgrade, I am unable to see thumbnails of events.
The thumbnails are present on the web interface and the events them selves are present on the iPad through eyeZM but all I get down the left hand side is a black box with file not found. If I select an event it streams fine.
I have played around with permissions and settings in ZM and the associated folders but with no luck.
It is by no means a dealbreaker but it would be nice to get this functionality back.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
ZM & eyeZM & Thumbnails
Re: ZM & eyeZM & Thumbnails
I have the same problem! Did you get this fixed?
Re: ZM & eyeZM & Thumbnails
In my case I think it was down to ownership and permissions.
I ended up deleting the contents of the events and images directory and forcing it to create new ones as i think my previous install had been set up slightly different. Once the new locations were created it started working again. I also set the permissions recursivley to 777 for both directories.
On my setup, the owner and group for contents of events is www-data. (I think it was something else before i deleted it)
Hope you get it fixed.
