Hi everybody
Recently i tried configuring foscam cameras model number FI8601W and FI8602. Ive had no trouble in configuring them using "ffmpeg" and "rtsp://" in the source.
But whenever i click the monitor , the view becomes hazy in the middle and then corrects itself automatically. This happens regularly, even in the recorded events , this HAZE shows up. I'm unable to get a smooth view, either LIVE or recorded.
There's no such issue with other cameras from FOSCAM, v.i.z: FI8905 or FI8918.
By the way the live view from the FI8601 and FI8602 ( directly connecting their IPs) do not show any haze. I mean the cameras by themselves are working superb. While viewing it through the ZM monitor, there's this "ROLLING HAZE"
Wonder whats the problem.
Thanks.
Prasad

Re: H.264 cameras gives "rolling hazy" views
Hello I find myself having the same problem with the ip cam eyesight ...
if you work in mjpg I have no problems whatsoever but if you work in H264, I have some disturbing images.
Also with 6 ip cam connected in wifi, running, I have repeatedly signal loss during the installation I play a blue screen.
Have solutions about?

Re: H.264 cameras gives "rolling hazy" views
HI
Haven't tried the wi-fi yet.
But i have configured a mix and match of mjpg as well as h.264 ones, to a total of 12 cameras. The mjpgs don't have any issue in live as well as event recording. But the h.264 have display problems intermittently.
I've tried Axis 215, Q1755 , Asoni 420A as well as Foscam FI8601 and FI8602.
Wonder if someone could find a solution to this.
Regards
Prasad
