Problem downloading events

I have 1.24.2 on Ubuntu.

This version for some reason does not allow me view or download a group of checked videos.

For example, I check like 6 events (contiguous) and hit view. Then I change the drop down from single events to all events. That only plays the first one. Once I switch to gapless, it plays them, but then it plays them beyond the 6 events. It's worse with the downloading. I can only download a single event. I can't do it from the main screen either (the export one - it always says FAIL). from viewing the event, I pick video and this should let me create a download in a certain format, but it does not. It just does a single event. I never had this problem before. Please tell me there's a way to fix this or if maybe 1.25 cures this.
