I know that the Axis 213 product is not listed as a supported item. I'm trying to add this as a monitor in zoneminder, added path as
/axis-cgi/jpg/image.cgi?resolution=CIF or QCIF for lower resolution, but ge the following error:
in the zmdc log
==========
Starting pending process, zmc -m 3
'zmc -m 3' started at 05/04/05 14:15:39'zmc -m 3' starting at 05/04/05 14:15:39, pid = 3943zmc: zm_image.h:192: void Image::CopyBuffer(const Image&): Assertion `width == image.width && height == image.height && colours == image.colours' failed.
'zmc -m 3' died at 05/04/05 14:15:39, signal 6
any suggestions or workaround to get this to work?? Do you have plans to support this product in the near future.

This error is basically saying that the image returned from your camera is of a different size or colour depth from that which you have set your monitor to be in ZM.
You can either add on extra url parameters to specify the dimensions so they correspond (see the Axis api docs on axis.com for details) or change the default image size in the camera setup pages. Either way, you need to ensure that they both match.

Control feature for Axis 213
Thanks..the zm process needed to restart just as you said when changing the remote image color. I tried to configure the control feature for Axis 213, but PTZ feature are not responding to events triggered within zoneminder. Do I have to write a pear script to add to the command field. What's the best approach in configuring the control feature.

PTZ support for Axis cameras is currently being discussed in this thread, http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4328 which might be helpful.

Not sure if you ever got it working or not, but I have 2 Axis 213 cameras working great in ZM 1.22.0.
I had a little problem with the picture being skewed (diagonal line through the middle of the picture, with half of the feed on one side, the other half on the wrong side...). Anyway, I turned the camera to 2CIF, 704x480, then turned on aspect correction which changed it to 640x480. Works great now. Still haven't gotten the PTZ camera to work yet, but that's for Monday.

that diaginal line im usuming is only present in montage and not in the main monitor view. If so you will need to change the montage res to match if its a strange non devisable resolution, this will fix your diagonal
